Violence and discrimination of any kind affect us deeply. Especially these days.
The Jonas Foundation is committed to the respect of all people, whatever their origin or condition!

In 2017, Sébastien Loyo, a youngster of the Jonas Group in Geneva, wrote his maturité diploma thesis on a civil rights topic: The Social Evolution of African-Americans in the 19th and 20th Centuries – The Civil Rights Movement in the United States with Martin Luther King.
The presentation was in form of a musical: «Blues – Colour of Words – Music of Hope». His work has touched the public deeply.
As you can read in «Aims and origins» of the Jonas Foundation:
The Jonas Foundation aims, through music and the performing arts to promote cultural integration and cross-cultural understanding among students and help offer the children a greater perspective in how to fulfil their greater potential, thereby having a better opportunity to transcend many of the difficulties they are faced with in their daily lives.
In these difficult times… Thank you all for your peace-supporting commitment! Whether it was through a diploma thesis or otherwise, with Roma children, with elderly people or elsewhere, with children, to whom you brought creativity, hope and joy: THANK YOU!
PS:
We wish good concentration to those who are in exam period!
