September 2025, Sicily: ‘Concerto Solidale’ at the Segesta Teatro Festival
On 5 September 2025, a special event took place at the ancient theatre of Segesta as part of the Segesta Teatro Festival: the ‘Concerto Solidale’, organised by the Jonas Foundation in collaboration with Archéologie Solidaire and the University of Geneva (Département des Sciences de la Terre, Alessia Mistretta). Geneva: Early music and bardcore
Océane Brigitte (vocals, recorders) founded Arcana Antiqua with four friends, including Enrique Mejia (guitar). Océane and Enrique are former participants in the Jonas project in Geneva. Arcana Antiqua plays early music, particularly Celtic music, and bardcore. The latter is a popular style that reinterprets pop and rock songs in a medieval style with corresponding instruments. A special highlight at this year's «Zürcher Theater-Spektakel» was the stage play Umuko. Responsible and appearing on stage herself was Dorothée Munyaneza – a former student of the Jonas Project London!
