20 Years Jonas Foundation

It was a wonderful celebration in the castle garden of Bioley-Magnoux – with the Hill House Choral Scholars from London conducted by Sarah Cameron and Edmund Townend.

The Hill House Choral Scholars bring together the best singers from the Hill House International School in London. Music plays a key role in the school’s programme. All instruments are taught, in addition to the three choirs that sing at the Wednesday assembly in the Scottish Church.
The Hill House Choral Scholars have been invited to perform in England, Switzerland and Belgium.

We would like to thank Richard and Janet Townend for giving us the opportunity to listen to these enthusiastic young boys (aged 9-13) under the direction of their choirmaster, Richard Townend, himself a renowned organist and musician.


Alexey Trushechkin gave a piano recital in the library. Here with Ueli and Christine Sigwart before his departure:

The concerts took place in Switzerland (Berne, Bioley-Magnoux, Geneva) from 12th to 15th March 2015.

Puzzle «Creation»

«The Creation», a painting in form of a huge puzzle! A piece of art put together by handicapped children and children from the Bernese Oberland (summer 2007). During the International Year 2008 of the Earth, «The Creation» was hosted by the International Airport Geneva at Gate A8. Read more

19th June: The «Jonas Singers» sing with the «Petits Chanteurs de la Cathédrale» at the first Session of the Human Rights Council, United Nations, Geneva. Young singers from countries as varied as Iran, Zimbabwe, Angola, Rwanda, Cameroun, Bulgaria, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Switzerland, have been invited to sing at the first Session of the Human Rights Council.
