Geneva: Early music and bardcore

Océane Brigitte (vocals, recorders) founded Arcana Antiqua with four friends, including Enrique Mejia (guitar). Océane and Enrique are former participants in the Jonas project in Geneva. Arcana Antiqua plays early music, particularly Celtic music, and bardcore. The latter is a popular style that reinterprets pop and rock songs in a medieval style with corresponding instruments. Dorothée Munyaneza at Zurich’s «Theater-Spektakel»

A special highlight at this year's «Zürcher Theater-Spektakel» was the stage play Umuko. Responsible and appearing on stage herself was Dorothée Munyaneza – a former student of the Jonas Project London! It was an extraordinary experience to have the likes of Bach, Chopin, Schumann, Rachmaninov and Debussy as guests in the venerable «Zunftsaal Schmiede» in Basel... performed by the Russian pianists Alena Trushechkin-Osminkina and Alexey Trushechkin!
