A special highlight at this year’s «Zürcher Theater-Spektakel» was the stage play Umuko. Responsible and appearing on stage herself was Dorothée Munyaneza – a former student of the Jonas Project London!
SRF’s Tagesschau (Swiss national TV) news programme dedicated a report of it in its main edition:
Dorothée came to London with her family at the age of 12, fleeing the horror of the genocide in Rwanda. In the UK she discovered her talents. She was also a pupil in the Jonas Music project. She studied in London, has been involved in various productions (including as a singer in the film ‘Hotel Rwanda’) and is now a choreographer, singer, actress and dancer.
